If you have any questions about Online Safety or ideas / suggestions for parent or pupil sessions please let us know - our Online Safety Adviser is Graham Lowe
In school we have a “Yucky Feelings Box”, in which pupils write down problems and ask to speak to someone. We have now set up an “Online Safety Box” so pupils can let us know about any problems associated with the Internet or mobile phones. As with the Home School Agreement we now have a Pupils Acceptable Use Policy (Online Safety Rules) which sets out school expectations (these need to be signed and returned to Class Teachers).
There will also be pupil questionnaires and a continued focus on Online Safety so we can protect and teach children how to use new technologies effectively yet safely.
(Please note mobile phones are not allowed in school but must be left at the Main Office on arrival in the morning and collected at 3.30pm.)
